✔️ Your Farm Work/88 days, we can get you started working straight away! Typically lots of people have had to start their farm work by doing some form of piece-rate picking jobs, but recently because of travel restrictions/COVID19, lots of good hourly jobs have been needing new workers, and we have been needing new guests to fill those positions, so the time on piece rate jobs has been very short lately.
In regards to the piece rate jobs, how much you get paid from these jobs depends entirely on how hard you work. While usually you will not do all 88 of your days on jobs like these, they are still great stepping stones to get you on your way to getting your days signed off! (bonus: they only do approx 4hrs a day with a full day sign off and you have the rest of the day to do whatever you want!)
We need plenty of workers for the blueberry farms we hold associations with.
A couple of farms we have associations with are:
???? Big Tomatoes - piece rate & bucket boy - hourly
???? Zucchinis - piece rate / hourly
???? Blueberries - piece rate & bucket boy - hourly
???? Lemons - piece rate
???? Egg plant, Capsicums, Pumpkins - good group contract
???? Sweet potatoes - hourly
???? Various packing shed jobs – hourly / piece rate
???? strawberries - hourly
???? Labouring jobs - hourly
We should mention that some of the piece rate farms listed above can see you bringing in over $100/shift!
A lot of the farms work 5 to 7 days a week, but the farm/farmer has full say over this so it is subject to change.
The Hostel:

???? Most of our rooms sleep 6 and have their own ???? shower and ???? toilet facilities.
We are a dry hostel which means absolutely no alcohol or drugs (but there is a pub down the road for after work pints!)
