Join Our Team at Chouette Cake & Dessert

We are looking for a Kitchen Team Member to join our friendly and fast-growing café team.
This role is ideal for Working Holiday makers or international students who enjoy hands-on work in a café or kitchen environment and want stable hours in a supportive workplace.

Kitchen Team Member

Employment Type

Full-time or Part-time
Minimum 25 hours per week, with the opportunity to increase hours based on performance and availability

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a café, bakery, or kitchen is preferred but not essential

• Coffee-making experience is a plus, but not essential
  (Your main role will be in the kitchen; however, basic support for front-of-house and POS may be required during busy periods)

• Basic English communication skills

• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn

• A positive attitude and ability to work well in a team

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily kitchen operations, including:

  • Product making and baking

  • Preparation and stock management

  • Cleaning and dishwashing

• Following instructions, recipes, and workplace guidelines

• Working cooperatively with team members

• Assisting front-of-house when the kitchen is not busy

• Supporting the team wherever needed during service
