Positions Available:
- Accounting: Senior Accountant (00 positions)
- Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 + Super
Key Responsibilities:
- Tax Compliance: Preparing and reviewing tax reports, including GST, PAYG, BAS, and IAS forms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Australian taxation laws.
- Tax Return: Preparation of financial accounts and income tax returns for companies, trusts and individuals.
- Tax Research: Conducting in-depth tax research, interpreting legislation, and delivering actionable insights to the team and clients.
- Client Engagement: Assisting with client consultations to gather information, answer queries, and provide strategic tax planning advice.
- Training & Development: Attending internal and external training seminars, staying updated on the latest industry trends, and pursuing continuous professional development.
- Service Integration: Developing a comprehensive understanding of the firm’s suite of services and products to provide holistic solutions to clients.
- Networking: Actively participating in business development activities, building a professional network, and enhancing our brand presence within the community.
- Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline tax processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of our service delivery.
- Team Collaboration: Working closely with senior accountants and other team members to deliver high-quality client service and support the firm’s overall objectives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Currently studying or has completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Professional Development: Willing to undertake or already enrolled in the Chartered Accountants Program (or CPA).
- Legal Eligibility: Must have full working rights in Australia.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Australian taxation laws and experience with accounting software like Xero and MYOB.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving, decision-making abilities, and lateral thinking capabilities.
- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on clarity and precision.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Adaptability: A proactive approach to learning, with the ability to adapt to new challenges and responsibilities.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in a second language (e.g., Korean, Mandarin) is highly valued but not mandatory.
