Key Responsibilities  

- Product Strategy and Roadmap: Lead development of web and app features, focusing on onboarding and retention, and prepare comprehensive Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) tailored to the Chinese market.  

- Market Research and Localisation: Analyse Chinese consumer behaviours and trends to adapt products accordingly, including the integration of platforms such as WeChat.  

- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with regional teams in Beijing and Shenzhen, as well as engineering and marketing departments, to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.  

- Data-Driven Optimisation: Track and analyse product KPIs to inform iterative improvements and feature enhancements.  

- Supplier Management: Liaise with local Chinese suppliers to ensure production quality standards are met and deadlines are adhered to.  

Qualifications and Skills  

- Language and Experience: Native or fluent Mandarin speaker with professional proficiency in English; a minimum of three years' experience in product management, preferably within technology, SaaS, or electronics sectors.  

- Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Chinese digital ecosystems and user behaviour, combined with experience in agile development and data analytics.  

Relevant Contexts  

- App Localisation: Enhancing UI/UX and WeChat integration for a global application targeting the Chinese market.  

- Hardware and Supply Chain Management: Overseeing product quality and manufacturing processes in Shenzhen for Western organisations.  

- Regional Expansion: Leading product growth initiatives aimed at Chinese-speaking users within fintech or SaaS industries.
